Assisted with planning and coordinating a one-day forum on preparedness and response to environmental disasters stemming from severe weather events such as floods and wildfires. Target audiences were public health emergency preparedness coordinators, health representatives, tribal community leaders, and environmental professionals.​

Cultural Foundation & Community Engagement

Gila River Indian Community (2018)

 

Assisted in coordinating and facilitating two Community engagement meetings. The project entailed gathering and compiling information by engaging Community members to convey their cultural knowledge and how they envision that knowledge to guide the work of the GRIC Department of Environmental Quality programs.
